Athearn HO ATH Freightliner Single-Axle Tractor
In 1974, Freightliner introduced its first conventional model, anadaptation of the high “Cab over engine” (COE) mainstay product. A“Cab over engine” (COE) or “flat nose” is where the driver is seatedabove the front axle and the engine. They were common in NorthAmerican heavy-duty trucks, but lost prominence when permittedlength was extended in the early 1980s.
