A 1970s Japanese Classic Truck
The Datsun 620's unusual flowing lines have inspired many tuners over the years. One undeniable factor of its design is the flexibility of being able to provide a blank canvas for any type of build. Workhorse, hauling, racing, commuting---it could do it all. Unlike other pickups during this time period, one key ingredient is their availability. This might be accredited to their superior build quality. Another factor could be the small innovations introduced throughout its lifespan.
Team Associated is proud to offer an officially licensed Datsun 620 in 1:10 scale form for the Apex2 Sport chassis. This superbly designed single-piece polycarbonate body features a highly detailed decal sheet, injection-molded fender mirrors, windshield wipers, and spoiler. Modeled after wheels from that era, the 1.9 bronze-colored turbine-style rims are the perfect fit on this realistic-looking Datsun 620.
Independant Front Suspension
For better handling, A-arm front and real independent suspension keeps the Apex 2 chassis under control during the closest racing conditions.
Coil-Over Shocks
Coil-over shock absorbers smooth out the bumps when ripping around the track.
SC500X ESC
The Apex2 Sport comes equipped Reedy SC500X programmable brushed ESC with T-plug connector and Reedy's 550 15-turn 3-slot motor.
Redesigned Chassis
Redesigned chassis layout allows for either a shorty or standard battery configuration to be used for maximum performance or runtime.
Active Rear Suspension
Active rear suspension allows the amount of toe change to be adjusted through the suspension cycle, increasing or decreasing rear grip.
Sealed Center Driveline
A sealed center driveline keeps dirt and debris out for smooth and reliable power delivery.
Brake Calipers
